TifTuf Bermuda

TifTuf is the most drought-tolerant lawn we grow, the result of around 25 years of research at the University of Georgia, hand-picked from close to 30,000 bermuda varieties and kept genetically pure from a single foundation plant ever since.

It's built for full sun, high-traffic yards. It has the strongest wear tolerance and fastest self-repair of anything we stock, plus it takes root faster than comparable varieties, so new lawns establish quickly.

On average it needs around a third less water than other varieties to stay green, along with low fertiliser and low mowing needs, and it holds its colour further into winter than most warm-season lawns. 10 year product warranty included.

Sir Walter DNA Certified

Sir Walter is Australia's benchmark buffalo, bred locally since 1997 and now laid across more than a million homes nationwide. Broad soft leaf, tight growth habit, and a lawn that stays lush through heat, frost and drought.

It's the most shade-tolerant lawn we stock, holding its colour on as little as three hours of sun a day, and just as capable in full sun. Its roots run deep to find moisture through dry spells, and its tight growth habit crowds out weeds and self-repairs quickly if it takes a knock.

Maintenance is about as low as lawns get: less frequent mowing and no special treatment beyond the basics. DNA tested for authenticity and backed by a 10 year product warranty.

Sir Grange

Sir Grange is our premium fine-leaf zoysia, the most luxurious lawn we grow, with a dense, soft, carpet-like feel and a rich, deep green colour. It started life on golf courses before making its way into premium home lawns, and it's exclusive to Lawn Solutions Australia members.

It's the most shade-tolerant lawn in our range, holding its colour and density on as little as three hours of direct sun a day, and it's just as happy in full sun. Once its root zone is established it self-repairs well, so it shrugs off the everyday wear from kids, pets and furniture.

It also asks the least of you: roughly half the mowing and a fraction of the fertiliser of other common turf types. It's low-allergenic too, which makes it a comfortable choice for families and pets. Comes with a 10 year product warranty.

Nullarbor Couch

Nullarbor is our hardest-wearing couch, a dense, fine-leaf lawn bred for Australian conditions that still feels soft underfoot despite how tough it is.

It's suited to full-sun yards that get a serious workout. Sports-field-grade wear tolerance makes it a strong pick for family backyards, and it copes well with both drought and winter frost.

It's a little more hands-on than our other varieties. Plan on mowing every 5 to 7 days through summer and fertilising two to three times a year, but it rewards the extra attention with a genuinely manicured, dark green finish. 10 year product warranty included.

Zoysia Australis

Zoysia Australis is one of the newest zoysia grasses to reach the Australian market. Bred at the University of Georgia by the same program behind TifTuf, it arrived in Australia in 2018 and spent years in local trials before release. The result is a tough, medium-textured zoysia with a soft feel underfoot and a striking blue green leaf.

Australis is built for real family backyards. It handles up to 75% shade and needs as little as four hours of direct sun a day, so it holds on in filtered light where many other grasses thin out. Strong rhizomes and a deep root system give it solid drought and heat resilience, and it stands up well to kids and pets.

Like all zoysias it is a slow and steady grower, which means less work for you. Mow weekly at the peak of summer or stretch it out to every two or three weeks, and two feeds a year will keep it at its best. Backed by the LSA 10 year product warranty.

Stampede Hybrid Buffalo

Stampede Hybrid Buffalo is the next evolution in premium soft-leaf buffalo, developed through advanced hybrid breeding and brought to Australia by Lawn Solutions Australia after six years of field trials across Australia and the United States. It launches this spring, and Tyagarah Turf will be growing it.

Stampede keeps everything people love about soft-leaf buffalo and sharpens the rest. It holds up to 75% shade on as little as three hours of direct sun a day, shrugs off drought and the wear of kids and pets, and stays comfortable across extremes from minus 7 to 45 degrees. A deep green leaf around 8mm wide keeps its colour further into winter than traditional buffalo, with the disease resistance to look its best right through a humid summer.

Every stage of Stampede's production is overseen by AusGAP, Australia's turf certification program, to guarantee genetic purity, and it carries the LSA 10 year product warranty.
